Gwen M. Cleveland, age 57, resident of Post Falls, Idaho, died January 10, 2014, at North Idaho Hospice House in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Gwen was born January 8, 1957, in Coeur d' Alene to George and Beulah (DeMarre) Cleveland. Gwen graduated from Post Falls High School in 1975 and then earned a B.S. degree from Boise State in 1982. She worked in the business office at General Telephone, later called Verizon, and presently named Frontier Communications. For the last while she was a full time honor student at North Idaho College. Gwen enjoyed being a grandma, quilting and needlework.
Gwen is survived by her life partner, Larry Frazer of Post Falls, Idaho; daughter, Kendra Martinez of Hayden, Idaho; honorary daughters, Shaunna, Jesseka and Amanda; grandchildren, Jameson, Skyler, Bailey and Savannau; two sisters, Marcella Black of Post Falls, Idaho, and Tammy Bocook of Port Ludlow, Washington; niece, Zoe Cleveland; nephew, Brad Cleveland; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The memorial service will be at the English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls, Idaho, January 17, (Friday) at 1 p.m. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 N.
