Wine grape trade show coming to Pasco

Get ready for the 2014 Washington Association of Wine Grape Growers annual trade show because it's coming fast and is open to all. This year the trade show, at the Toyota Center in Kennewick, has over 180 booths with over 150 exhibitors and will held on Feb. 5-6.
The Town Toyota Center admission is free if you have registered for the WAWGG convention. If you are not attending any sessions and do not have a badge you can still attend the trade show for a $5 entrance fee good for both days. There are also exhibitor booths in the lobby area of the convention center. There is no charge to see these booths.
On Feb. 6, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., network with familiar faces, meet new exhibitors, and shop a little while enjoying some of Washington's finest vintages at the Trade Show Reception.
Each time attendees visit the trade show floor they will receive a free ticket for two chances to win a 16GB wi-fi iPadª mini, valued at over $400. Drawings will be held on Feb. 5, during the Trade Show Reception and on Feb. 6, at 3:55 p.m. The WAWGG Your Tail Raffle is sponsored by Precept Wine and The Hogue Cellars.
The trade show will be open Feb. 5, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Feb. 6, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Washington State Department of Agriculture continues to protect the second-largest grape-growing state in the U.S. and the number two producer of premium wines by continuing its cooperative program with the U.S. Department of Agriculture in looking for four species of destructive moths (European Grapevine Moth, European Grape Berry Moth, Grape Tortrix, and Grapevine Tortrix).
