PARK CITY, Utah — Whitefish slopestyle skier Maggie Voisin placed sixth in the final Olympic qualifier at the Visa U.S. Freeskiing Grand Prix on Saturday morning.

Voisin finished fourth among American women in the final Olympic qualification standings for the five-event series.

Voisin threw down a best score of 80.20 in her first time down at the Kings Crown slopestyle course, which put her in fourth after the first run. She was unable to better that score in her second run, settling for sixth place.

Julia Krass won the event, and moved into third in the final standings, breaking a tie with Voisin at 160 points by virtue of her top finish. Keri Herman finished in second place, clinching a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team with her second top-three finish. Canada’s Dara Howell was third.

Herman joins Devin Logan on the American team. Two more discretionary picks will be made for the team, with Voisin and Krass the leading candidates. Voisin, 15, would be the youngest member of the U.S. Olympic Team.

Missoula’s Darian Stevens finished seventh at the event on Saturday and fifth in the final U.S. qualification standings.
