Focusing its sales to athletic programs, Kimmel Athletic Supply will move to Suite D2 at 411 Haycraft Ave. at the end of the month. Beginning this Wednesday, the company will be selling its in-stock retail merchandise at 50 percent off to ease the inventory that needs to be moved. The existing store is in Suite 106 at 405 W. Neider.

Selling high-quality team sporting goods and equipment, such as letter jackets, Kimmel is reducing its retail presence to emphasize team/league corporate accounts. The key Idaho people are Keith Williams, Travis Anderson and Steve Leifer. Kimmel also has a store at 202 E. Mission Ave. in Spokane.

Opening the first week of February, hours in the new store will be 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and additional team sales by appointment on Mondays. Phone 277-1020. Check www.kimmelathletic.com.

Live Well expands, moves

Accommodating the growth of its program, Live Well protein clinic and weight-loss center has moved to a new location in Suite 20 at 296 W. Sunset Ave. Offering its Ideal Protein program to attain ideal weight while protecting muscle mass, Live Well has been co-located with Kootenai Health in the Peak Fitness building.

A free workshop about the program will be noon Thursday in the new location.

According to Ami Higbee, clinic director, "For some it's an easy program. For others it's an entirely new way of eating, and that's what we're here for."

Bertsch Heating, Cooling moving

Offering the installation and service for all heating and air-conditioning systems, J.A. Bertsch Heating and Cooling is moving to 1695 W. Hayden Ave. (formerly All-Season Tire) at the end of the month.

The company plans to hire more employees for the larger space, after moving from its current location at 2147 W. Hayden Ave. Hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays with 24-hour phone service. Owner Joel Bertsch has had the business nine years and has 30 years experience in the industry.

Phone 635-5480 or 1-800-FURNACE.

Bank of America closing Hayden branch

April 25 will be the last business day for the Bank of America branch at 162 W. Hayden Ave. Services will continue at the Silver Lake Mall branch at 357 W. Canfield Ave. Other area branches are at 401 Front St., 501 W. Appleway and 405 E. Seltice in Post Falls.

In summer 2013 Washington Federal purchased 51 Bank of America branches including those in Sandpoint and Osburn.

Now for the Tidbits:

- The former La Quinta Inn on Appleway is now a Quality Inn. The La Quinta on Sherman Avenue remains La Quinta.

- We're still waiting for information on the new The Fork on Lakeside restaurant in Coeur d'Alene, Northwest Pizza in Hayden, Paul Bunyan Burgers in Rathdrum and Buffalo Wild Wings in Cd'A.

- We're also hearing rumors about the new "mall" in the northwest corner of Appleway and Fourth Street.

- The Grooveberries store in Riverstone has a "Watch for our re-opening" sign.

- In a church bulletin: "Don't let worry kill you off. Let the church help."

- "Ho-hum" is hyphenated. You may ho-hum after reading this.
