They’re not just fans, they’re super fans. For decades, Don and Patti Dorlarque and Jim and Donna Jo Ryan have cheered on the Wildcats.

On Jan. 18, the Columbia Falls High School along with the Montana High School Association and U.S. Bank recognized the two couples as “super fans.”

The Dorlarques were nominated because they attend all home games and many of the away games.

Don is particularly well-known in the stands for leading cheers, and Patti takes pictures at the events. They also volunteer their time at a host of school functions, projects and activities.

Jim and Donna Ryan both graduated from Columbia Falls and have been attending events for more than 60 years. Donna had four children and six grandchildren who competed for Columbia Falls over that time span.

Currently, the Ryans’ granddaughter, Sydney Grilley, plays on the Wildkat basketball team. Like the Dorlarques, Jim and Donna also volunteer their time and support for numerous community clubs and events.
