Choteau Tournament
CHOTEAU — Mission-Charlo scampered to a sixth-place finish at the Choteau Invitational thanks to a 170-pound victory from Jacen Petersen.
Morgan Schultz placed second at 106 pounds, and Steven Bravo (third in 182), Jamie Mullins (fifth in 126) and Tyler Spidel (sixth in 285) also placed for the Bulldogs.
Alex Bertollt led Arlee to a 21st-place finish, taking third at 160 pounds.

MISSOULA — Polson and Ronan competed in the state’s biggest tournament of the weekend.
The Pirates saw 106-pounder Thunder Morales (sixth), 126-pounder Carlos Quinones (seventh) and 170-pounder Tel Motichka (seventh) place in the tournament.

Polson woman pleads not guilty to homicide
Danielle Jeanette Wood pleaded not guilty to deliberate homicide during a video arraignment Tuesday before Lake County District Court Judge Deborah “Kim” Christopher at the Sanders County Courthouse in Thompson Falls. Wood is charged with deliberate homicide in connection with the death of Thompson Falls resident Matthew LaFriniere in May 2018.
