Former NHL star Lanny McDonald brings the puck up the ice Friday afternoon during the first game of the third annual Craft Brewers Cup at the Woodland Ice Rink. Games continue Saturday starting at 7:30 a.m. with the championship game scheduled for 4:30 p.m. There will also be a Craft Brewers Cup Brewfest beginning at 2 p.m. All proceeds from the brewfest will go toward the Flathead Valley Hockey Association and its effort to purchase a newer Zamboni.

Patrick Cote/Daily Inter Lake After finishing the final leg of her 91-mile fundraising run, Kelda Latham-Bennett, right, is greeted by Special Olympics athlete Chrissy Siefke in the Flathead Industries parking lot Monday afternoon. Latham-Bennett raised more than $4,000 for Special Olympics of Montana by running from Libby to Kalispell.
