Dance the night away at Black & White Ball
Coeur d'Alene Press | UPDATED 12 years, 7 months AGO
The Coeur d'Alene Symphony is hosting its annual Black & White Ball at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, at the Best Western Plus Coeur d'Alene Inn. Think of it as a grown-up prom, where you can dance to live music performed by members of the symphony. They'll be playing everything from big band sounds to tunes by the Beach Boys.
Don't have a tux or evening gown? That's OK; there's no dress code. Wear your best flannel shirt or favorite party outfit, it's up to you. Although sometimes it's fun to dress up and dance the night away under the twinkling lights.
Not a dancer? Gather a group of friends, and join us to socialize while enjoying the music. There will be light hors d'oeuvres and a no-host bar.
There will also be a raffle with prizes including tickets to the Coeur d'Alene Summer Theater, a wine gift basket, and a Parkside Package. Raffle tickets are $5 each or five for $20, and are available at the ball or the symphony office (you need not be present to win).
The Coeur d'Alene Inn is offering a special room rate to all ball guests of $77 plus tax, which includes a full buffet breakfast.
Tickets are $25 ($200 for a table) and are available at the symphony office at (208) 765-3833, or online at www.cdasymphony.org. Proceeds benefit the Coeur d'Alene Symphony.
