The 15th annual Nate Chute Banked Slalom at Whitefish Mountain Resort will kick off March 15-16 but the NC Foundation is asking competitors to get involved before the weekend of racing.

Using Crowdrise, a crowd sourcing website designed for nonprofits, the NC Foundation hopes to raise $6,000. The NC Foundation focuses its efforts to support the mental health of young people in Montana with the ultimate goal of reducing and eliminating suicide and suicide attempts.

Currently, the NC Foundation supports the Student Assistance Program in the Whitefish School District, Columbia Falls High School and the Youth Suicide Prevention Program.
