Speech takes third at divisional

The Bulldog speech and debate team took third place at the Northwest A divisional tournament last weekend in Whitefish.

Columbia Falls was first, followed by Polson and Whitefish in team sweepstakes points. Leading the Bulldogs was senior Sloan Ellis with a first-place finish in original oratory.

The top six places qualify to compete at the Class A state tournament Saturday in Hamilton.
