Despite losing five matches by pin, the Whitefish Bulldogs defeated the Libby Greenchain, 41-30, in a Northwestern A wrestling dual on Tuesday night in Libby.
Whitefish’s James Buckley won by major decision at the 113-pound weight class with a 17-2 victory over Ty Hight, and Matt Sampson pinned Braydon Thom at 152 to pace the Bulldogs.
The Loggers, who forfeited at five weight classes, got pins from Dylan Roby (126), Skyler Higareda (138), Zach Crace (145), Josh Bowers (160) and Garret Chapel (170).
