Vehicles damaged by gunfire in Larson Housing area

MOSES LAKE - At least three vehicles were damaged after gunshots rang out early Saturday morning in the Larson Housing area near Moses Lake. No injuries were reported.

Grant County deputies received several calls about 1 a.m. Saturday for shots fired in the area of Bong Loop and Daley Drive. Witnesses reported a dark-colored car, possibly a Honda or Subaru, was involved and leaving the scene south on Travis Drive, according to the sheriff's office.

Witnesses later told police the shooting happened in the 8900 block of Travis Drive. At least one person was seen running from the scene but was not found by deputies.

Two cars were found damaged in the front of a home at 8924 Travis Dr. Evidence also shows another vehicle, possibly the car fleeing the scene, was also hit by gunfire, according to the sheriff's office. No injuries were reported.

Saturday's shooting is believed to be at the same home as a drive-by shooting last Monday, A green Honda with black wheels was seen leaving the scene of Monday's shooting. A car matching the description was later stopped by a state trooper but no arrests were made. Nobody was hurt in the incident and no suspects have been identified.
