MOSES LAKE - Gunshots were reportedly exchanged between unknown suspects in two vehicles Friday in the Knolls Vista neighborhood in Moses Lake.

According to Moses Lake Police Capt. Dave Sands, at least four shots were heard by witnesses about 4:30 p.m. Friday in the area of West Loop Drive and North Clark Road. At least two shots were heard and appeared to come from a white or pearl-colored vehicle in the area before witnesses reported an unknown male in a gold-colored car appeared to be holding a gun out the window and fired several shots at the other vehicle on North Clark Road. The suspect in the gold car reportedly continued to follow the other car on Clark before fleeing the area.

Responding officers were unable to find any shell casings in the area and no injuries were reported, according to police reports. No suspects have been identified in the incident.

Moses Lake police continue to investigate another shooting incident last week on North Stratford Road near state Route 17 when at least 10 shots were fired from a silver sedan, several striking a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am. According to police reports, male suspects in the two vehicles were arguing before shots were fired. The Pontiac was later found by police and the occupants declined to cooperate in the investigation. No arrests have been made.

The Moses Lake Police Department asks anyone with information on the two incidents call 509-764-3887.
