Branson entertainers come to town

The Haining Family, Branson's premier Gospel Bluegrass band, will be performing at the First Lutheran Church in Plains on Saturday July 12 at 7 p.m.

Bell ringers
The 2011 Salvation Army Kettle Drive produced a total of $10,776.48. This amount was $4,700 more than was collected in 2010 with 90 percent of the funds raised staying in Lake County.

Hundreds of school supplies as well as some financial aid was raised by the program that began with employees of the Mineral Community Hospital.
