Cameron McCubbins, son of 1994 Columbia Falls High School graduates Amy and Patrick McCubbins, has committed to attend school and play baseball for Gateway Community College in Phoenix, Ariz.

McCubbins recently completed his senior year at Estrella Foothills High School, in Goodyear, Ariz., and was named first team All-State for the third year in a row. McCubbins also established a new Division 3 record for Arizona with 48 doubles over his career and was named the senior male athlete of the year at his high school.

He plans to follow in his parents’ footsteps and pursue a degree in education and hopes to coach high school baseball someday.
