An informational meeting for the second phase of the U.S. 93 West reconstruction project will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at Whitefish City Hall.

The latest round of construction runs from Karrow Avenue to Mountainside Drive and will include multiple improvements, such as the addition of bike paths and sidewalks. Additionally, Schellinger Construction will install a new storm-drain system, water system and sewer system as part of the project.

Construction is expected to begin Monday, with completion by July 2015. Anticipated workdays are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. During construction hours, traffic will occasionally be reduced to one lane, which may create increased traffic, delays, temporary loss of access and detours for adjacent residents and businesses.

For more information about Karrow to Mountainside Project, visit http://www.mdt.mt.gov/pubinvolve/whitefishwest. Questions or concerns may be addressed to Marc Blanden at 253-3730 or 892-2188.
