Kootenai County Sheriff

Monday

3:08 p.m.: Damages of about $6,000 were reportedly done to the carpeting, glass door and windows of a rental residence in the 9700 block of North Hillview Drive in Hayden.

Wednesday

1:37 p.m.: A Craftsman lawnmower, a Honda motorcycle, Stihl chain saws, an air compressor and other items with a total value of about $6,500 were reported stolen from the garage of a residence under reconstruction in the 15000 block of North Ramsey Road near Rathdrum.

Friday

8:30 a.m.: A red 2007 Ford Focus containing hand tools with a total value of about $4,500 was reported stolen from the backyard of a residence in the 400 block of east Hanley Avenue in Dalton Gardens.

Sunday

3:44 a.m.: A silver 2004 Ford Explorer valued at $3,500 was reported stolen from a vacant parking lot in the 300 block of East Coeur d'Alene Lake Drive near Coeur d'Alene.

Tuesday

1:39 p.m.: A black specialized Rock Hopper bike valued at $800 was reported stolen from a business lot in the 500 block of West Honeysuckle Avenue in Hayden.

Shawn A. Fortune, 29, Post Falls: Three years determinate penitentiary time and five years indeterminate time, retained jurisdiction and $340.50 in fines for theft by possession of stolen property.
