YAKIMA - Fighting for their playoff lives, the Moses Lake Walleyes went on the road for the series finale against the Yakima Beetles.

Moses Lake was unable to stave off postseason elimination after falling to the Beetles Wednesday, 12-5.

The loss dropped the Walleyes' record to 7-23 overall.

Carson Fisk and Easton Castro both finished 3 for 5 on the day.

Castro also added two RBIs.

Moses Lake continues its season Friday with a home doubleheader against the Kennewick Phantoms at 5 p.m.

The Walleyes met the Phantoms over the holiday weekend at the Duster Bowl Tournament.

Kennewick turned back Moses Lake 12-2 in that meeting.
