SANDPOINT — It’s unlikely local nonprofit staffers have experienced a seminar like Idaho Panhandle Nonprofit Leadership Retreat.

Event planners aim to make the upcoming day of training exercises feel more like vacation than professional development. But make no mistake: The lineup of instructors and opportunity to build connections should build more than a few bridges for future community development. Plus, a summer day out on the lake can’t hurt, either. It all happens Friday, July 18, starting 8 a.m. at City Beach.
