SANDPOINT — Between several grant acquisitions and the imminent launch of a new website, it’s been a good few weeks for the Panida Theater.

According to Panida Theater grant coordinator Phyllis Goodwin, the Panida Theater has received more than $30,000 in grants over the past three weeks. One such grant is a $10,000 contribution from the Equinox Foundation to support the removal of asbestos throughout the building.

“This will help us provide a safe environment for (theater-goers),” Goodwin said.
