Abigail Sylvester, 33, of Buckley, Wa., died Sunday, July 13, a day after she fell into McDonald Creek.

It is believed she was taking photos when she slipped. The creek current swept her downstream. Her husband jumped into the creek in an attempt to save her, but had to rescue himself to the creek bank due to deep and fast-moving water in this location.

A visitor saw the woman carried downstream and the park ranger leading the tour notified park dispatch.
