Shannon A. Turner, a resident of Lake County, passed away on June 30, 2014. 

Shannon was born in Polson June 27, 1974, to James and Maureen Sweeney (now deceased). Shannon was raised in Polson and attended Polson schools. 

She married Kevin Turner in 1995, and they made their home in Pablo. Shannon worked in the courthouse in Polson for the Department of Motor Vehicles, and later in the tax department for almost 16 years.

Her life revolved around her husband and her children. She loved camping, going for walks and doing crafts. She had a beautiful flower garden which she really enjoyed. Her cats had an especially important part in her family.

Survivors include her husband Kevin, and her two children, Allen and Ashley.

A memorial service to remember Shannon will be held at 11 a.m. July 25 at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Polson.
