Mythweaver, Kalispel celebrate 25 years of work

SANDPOINT — The Kalispel Tribe has traveled a long road to reclaim its North Idaho heritage.

It wasn’t until recently the Kalispel were officially declared an official Idaho American Indian tribe. With that in mind, Kalispel Tribe members and the Idaho Mythweaver, a nonprofit dedicated to helping Idaho’s native tribes, celebrated their progress over 25 years of work with an anniversary outing Wednesday morning and afternoon.
