SPOKANE - North Idaho College forward Adam Talley recorded a hat trick and former Post Falls High standout Timmy Mueller scored twice in the second half, helping the Spokane Shadow pound the shorthanded Seattle Stars 11-0 in Evergreen Premier League soccer Saturday night at Spokane Falls Community College.

Spokane (9-2-2, 29 points) moves into first place in the league by one point over South Sound (9-3-1, 28 points) with one game remaining in the season.

Talley scored in the 47th, 69th and 72nd minute for Spokane. Ex-Coeur d'Alene High standout Graison Le, now at Gonzaga, scored in the 75th minute to cap the scoring for Spokane. Mueller, who has signed with Oregon State, scored in the 52nd and 54th minute.

Spokane can win the league title in its inaugural season with a win today against Wenatchee United at 5 p.m. at Spokane Falls.

Seattle (4-8-2, 14 points) played with only nine players due to a van breaking down in Moses Lake carrying players to the game.

South Sound travels to Vancouver Victory, who were eliminated from title contention, today at 2 p.m.
