5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fourth annual Car Show and Heritage Days fundraiser barbecue at Marantette Park

Thursday - July 24

5 p.m. Farmers market at Pinewood Park

6:30- 7:45 p.m. free open swimming in the city pool for adults and kids to 10 years old

8:45-10 p.m. free open swimming in the city pool for adults and kids 11 and older

7 p.m. Lions Club Concert at Marantette Park, the Flathead Valley Community Band with Saxophun Plus 1

Uphill skiers need to be aware of avalanches on Big Mtn.

Whitefish Mountain Resort’s post-season uphill policy expired last week, but with significant snowfall and changing weather conditions, the resort reminds skier and hikers that avalanche hazards in the ski area’s permitted boundaries do exist.
