As you know, many citizens of Washington State have endured a worse than normal wildland fire season. Moses Lake Firefighters L2052, have had crews directly involved in firefighting operations and have seen first hand the devastating results of these fires. It is with a heavy heart that we come to you with a request to assist those families and communities who have been evacuated from their homes, or worse yet, lost their homes. We are working directly with our local American Red Cross, Apple Valley Chapter, to help those families in need. As of now their biggest need is monetary donations, but they are also excepting physical donations such as bottled water and clothing. For a list of donations needed, or to give a monetary donation, please contact the Apple Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross @ 509-663-3907or at redcross.org. Physical donations may be dropped off at Moses Lake Fire Station #1 @ 701 E 3rd Ave or please call 509-765-2204. More information about the wildfires and donations can be found on Moses Lake Firefighters Facebook page or on our website MosesLakeFirefighters.org. Your Moses Lake Firefighters appreciate your help and thank you for your undying support.
