Patricia A. Morris, 71, passed away on Sunday, July 20, 2014, amongst her loving family. 

Patty was born April 19, 1943, In Greenville, S.C., to Eddie Lee and Lillian Crumley. At 2 years of age the family moved to Halfmoon. She went to school in Columbia Falls. 

On Sept. 24, 1960, she married Robert Morris in Whitefish. They had four children and were married for 53 wonderful years.

Patty was very active raising her family. She was a Scout leader, organized cookie sales, planned three-day open horse shows, a secretary for the saddle club, helped at Bible camp, led Bible studies, helped in the office at First Baptist Church of Whitefish, helped with youth group (opened her home to kids and Bible studies), helped with youth group activities, did volunteer work for the Family Friend Program, and guided hunters for her father-in-law into the Silvertip of the Bob Marshall Wilderness.

Patty is survived by her husband, Bob, of Whitefish; son, David Lee, and wife Wendy Morris, of Whitefish; son, Mark, and wife Sherilyn Morris, of Whitefish; daughter, Darcy Morris, of Whitefish; daughter, Yvette, and husband Bruce Holler, of Rice Lake, Wis.; grandchildren, Casey Morris and Skip Schroeder, Cody and Elizabeth Morris, Jessica Holler, Clayton and Amanda Holler, Courtney Holler, Wyatt Morris and Tim Johnson;  and great-grandchildren, Isabell and Alexis Johnson, Addy Morris, Veronica Holler and Stetson Morris. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddy Lee and Lillian Crumley; brother, David Crumley; father-in-law, David W. Morris; and son-in-law, Darryl Frey.

Burial services are being held at 11 a.m. today, July 23, at Glacier Memorial Gardens Cemetery. All are welcome. A memorial service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Whitefish, with a luncheon afterward.
