SANDPOINT — Evidentiary and suppression hearings are set in the case of a former Bonner County man convicted of shooting Leslie Carlton Breaw to death at Priest Lake in 2007.

Keith Allan Brown entered provisional Alford pleas to amended charges of voluntary manslaughter and accessory to grand theft following civil mediation. Under such a plea, a defendant admits no wrongdoing but concedes the prosecution has sufficient evidence to gain a conviction.

The plea agreement in his case also preserved his right to appeal.
