DESERT AIRE - The Sagebrush Senior Center annual golf tournament and auction will be held this Thursday, July 24.

This is the principal fund raiser for the center. Those who play provide funds for center utilities, upkeep on the building and support for office and custodial staff. Registration forms are available at the center and also at the golf course.

"If you would just like to join us for lunch and the auction, the cost is only $8," seniors leader Kathy Meredith said. "We have some great auction items, including a Crystal and Candlelight dinner for six, a load of gravel from Central Premix, golf and casino stay and play packages, a Seahawk golf bag, Russell Wilson signed wines, a local wine basket, incredible baked goods and so much more."

There will be a gift card raffle worth several hundred dollars, other silent auction items and new fun bag raffles.

Sagebrush provides activities for seniors on an almost daily basis. They range from community bingo, quilting, cards, mahjong, exercise classes, breakfasts, potlucks to a library a much more.

"The center is the hub of Desert Aire," Meredith said. "The best part is that associate membership is open to those 50 and over, and dues are just $15 per person per year."

"We hope you'll support the tournament and auction with your attendance," Meredith added.
