Loren’s Auto Repair in Kalispell is now taking nominations for its Wheels To Thrive car giveaway event.
The shop will sell a fully reconditioned vehicle to a deserving person for $1.
“We are always looking for ways to do something positive for our community and this year, everything came together to launch this program we are calling ‘Wheels To Thrive,’” Loren’s General Manager Travis Sallee said in a news release.
“The idea of handing the keys of a gently used car over to someone that is out serving other people and making a difference in our community warms our heart. If all works out as we are expecting, we plan to make this something we do regularly. “
The Wheels To Thrive winner will get a blue 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt.
Community members are encouraged to nominate the most deserving people they know on the WheelsToThrive.com website.
Nominations will be voted on by a group of business leaders from around the Flathead Valley.
Nominations are due Aug. 20.
For more information about the car giveaway or to nominate someone, go to www.WheelsToThrive.com or call 755-7757.
