SANDPOINT — It’s hard to know just how huge a Clydesdale horse is until you’re face-to-nose with one.

Fortunately, residents will have the chance to do exactly that this weekend. The world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales are in town and available for community members to visit. Today, the Clydesdales will be making an appearance at the Ponderay Wal-Mart from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Attendees will be able to meet the hitch team and get an up-close look at some of the most famous horses in America.
