Vandalism is vandalism, but babies are babies

Destroying property certainly is not the proper way to show one’s abhorrence of abortion; however, Susan Cahill is not the victim she is portraying herself to be. The victims are the babies who are ripped apart in the womb.
Cahill can spin it any way she wants to justify her actions, but the Bible says that someday she like all of us will stand before the King of Kings and there will not be any excuses at that time.
The outpouring of emotions consoling Ms. Cahill shows the lack of morality and righteousness on the part of so many today. Our world truly is twisted in so much of their thinking; “right is wrong and wrong is right” in today’s world.
One issue concerning abortion that has not been addressed is the grief and pain that a mother goes through after she has had an abortion. I have never had one, so I cannot personally attest to the pain, but I have heard stories of the anguish that grips the heart after a woman has had one. They instinctively know, as a woman, that life was forming within them and then for whatever reason, they decided to end that life.
I recall one woman who told how the staff at the abortion clinic was so brusque with her having no compassion for her situation. After the abortion was completed, she was told to get dressed. There was a pail with her baby in it standing by her dressing room. Oh, the horror! She said that she would stand at the top of the stairs wanting to throw herself down to end her misery because the pain of what she had done was more than she could bear.
I wonder if abortionists ever consider the pain that a woman goes through after the abortion is complete — the pain of knowing that a human life has been snuffed out as a matter of convenience.
After God’s judgment on each of us, we will then either go to hell or heaven for eternity. Hell is going to be a time of pure anguish, despair and torment, and there will be nowhere to run to get away from our thoughts of the actions we did while on earth. Maybe abortionists who destroy innocent lives will get to spend eternity hearing babies’ cries. I do realize that there will not be any babies in hell but that does not mean that God will not cause them to hear those screams in their tormented minds.
The Bible so clearly shows the love of God for these little ones. Every time that a baby is killed in the womb. I am sure it tears at the heart of God, our Father.
Each time one commits evil, one’s heart get a little harder until it becomes like stone unless we repent and turn away from our evil nature. I know the pain of remorse caused by violating our Heavenly Father through sin and disobedience so I cannot imagine the pain of murdering a baby in the womb.
However, there is hope for sinners.
When I was 18 years old, I turned to God in all sincerity and became very religious, but I was not born again. To be “born again,” humble yourself before God, confess your sins, ask God for forgiveness, and invite Jesus Christ into your heart. He will transform your heart and turn you in another direction, the way of godliness, light and life. And God will erase your sins as far as the east is from the west, and bury your sins in the depth of the sea and put up a “No Fishing” sign.
Forgiveness is for anyone who truly repents and is sincere in their act of confession. Some scriptures to ponder: Psalms 34:18, Proverbs 28:13, Matthew 1:21, 18:11, Luke 9:56, 13:3, Acts 2:21, 3:19, Romans 10:9, 10:13, Ephesians 2:8, II Peter 3:9, I John 1:9.
