Kalispell council field grows to 11

A Realtor submitted a last-minute application for a vacant Kalispell City Council seat, bringing the number of applicants for the position to 11.

Mary Kay Myett has lived in Kalispell for 31 years and has been a real estate broker for 28 years, 10 of those years with a broker-owned franchise office. 

She says she has chaired and served on many boards and committees. She said she has been an avid follower of council business and through her work is well aware of issues that have resulted from Kalispell’s rapid growth.

Mayor Mark Johnson has asked applicants to address the City Council at its Aug. 4 meeting.

Also applying for the Ward 3 position recently vacated by Randy Kenyon are:

Karlene Ann Osorio Khor, Steve Burglund, John Hinchey, Jim Cossitt, John Hinchey, Lance Isaak, Marc Rold, Jonathan Smith, William Nelson, Rod Kuntz and Richard Hull.
