Chamber hosts neighborhood business meetings

The Whitefish Chamber of Commerce wants to hear from local business owners and managers about the challenges they face and the issues affecting them.
The chamber is hosting several neighborhood business meetings this month to get feedback during a round table discussion. All meetings begin at 7:30 a.m. and are expected to wrap up by 9 a.m. The chamber will provide coffee and donuts.
All businesses are invited to take part, not just Chamber members.
Meetings:
• Highway 93 and Baker Avenue corridor (south of the Whitefish River) meets on Tuesday, June 3 at the Pin & Cue.
• Downtown and railroad district meets Wednesday, June 4 at First Interstate Bank.
• Wisconsin Avenue and East Lakeshore Drive meets Tuesday, June 10 at McGarry’s Roadhouse.
• Second Street and Highway 93 West meets Wednesday, June 11 at Grouse Mountain Lodge.

Rehberg to attend rally for Jesus statue
Montana Rep. Denny Rehberg will attend a public rally in Whitefish on Nov. 10 in support of the World War II statue of Jesus on Big Mountain. Rehberg will be at the VFW Post 276 on Baker Avenue at 1 p.m.
