COEUR d'ALENE - Dominic Conigliaro pitched a five-hitter and Cody Garza and Reggie Nault drove in three runs apiece as the Coeur d'Alene Lumbermen beat the Spokane Northstars 11-1 in five innings to conclude play in the Border Wars tournament Sunday at Thorco Field.

Garza went 2 for 3 with a two-run double in the second inning for Coeur d'Alene (4-5). Nault was 2 for 4 with a two-run single in the fifth, and Devin Kluss added a two-run double in the first.

Conigliaro scattered five hits and struck out four in five innings.

"It was definitely the most complete game we've played so far all season," Lumbermen coach Zach Clanton said. "Today we hit, we played defense and we did an awesome job on the bump. We love the way (Conigliaro) works. He works real fast, real poised for a sophomore, and keeps his defense involved. We were happy with the energy the last two nights."

Coeur d'Alene returns to action Wednesday vs. Prairie at 7 p.m. at Thorco Field. The Lums are treating it as their official opening night, with ceremonies, including a first pitch, scheduled to follow a game by Coeur d'Alene's single-A team at 4:30.
