Berget eliminated in primary elections; Troy Dispatch survives

Mark Peck and Russ Bache came out on top in the Lincoln County primary elections for commissioner, while Roby Bowe and Bill Clark and will now go head to head for sheriff in the fall.

Lincoln County Justice of the Peace – the third contested race in the county’s primary elections –  is now down to Jay Sheffield and Stormy Langston.

Voters elected to maintain Troy Area Dispatch District, and increase their taxes in the process. Nearly 63 percent voted for retaining the 29-mill levy for the support of the district.
