Twins win six games in a row

The Glacier Twins American Legion Class A baseball team is on a roll, winning six games in a row.
On May 31, they swept the Butte Miners in a doubleheader 3-2 in the opener and 4-0 in the nightcap at home.
The next day, the Twins dropped the Rocky Mountain Bandits of Cranbrook, B.C., 10-0 in the opener and 11-3 in the nightcap at home.
Vincent Smith, went 2 for 3, and hammered a triple in the opener of the Bandits game. Smith had four RBIs.
Chris Joy and Jayce Fagerland each had two RBIs for the Twins. Fagerland had the team’s other extra-base hit, a double. Tristan Steinwand also had two hits for the Twins.
The Twins tallied six runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to pull away for an 11-3 victory in the second game against the Bandits. The Twins scored in every inning but the first and fifth.
Austin Robins went 2 for 4 and drove in three runs, and AJ Wetsch went 2 for 3 and had two RBIs. Steinwand and Colten Parker each went 2 for 3. Steinwand and Wetsch posted doubles.
The Twins hosted the Kalispell Lakers A team on Tuesday after presstime.
The Twins play Libby on June 4 and then travel to Havre for a tournament this weekend.
