ANNIVERSARY

Tom and Gayle Anthony

50th Anniversary

Tom and Gayle Anthony were married on May 30, 1964, at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Coeur d'Alene.

Mr. and Mrs. Anthony celebrated their 50th anniversary with a renewal of vows at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014, along with a celebration hosted by their daughters, Anna (Scott) Jessick and Kelli (Micheal) Cordon. The occasion was held at the home of the Jessicks.

Tom and Gayle are lifelong residents of Coeur d'Alene and have enjoyed watching their grandchildren; Colin (Kalli) Cordon, Emilee Cordon, Madison Jessick and Meredith Jessick, grow up. They have been the most loving and supportive parents (and grandparents) imaginable. We can't thank them enough for being such an amazing example of a devoted couple!

ENGAGEMENT

Crews-Usher

Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Becker of Dalton Gardens are proud to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Crews, to Matthew Usher.

Erin is currently a student at North Idaho College pursuing a certificate as a physical therapy assistant. Matt is a paramedic/firefighter with the Northern Lakes Fire Department.

The couple is planning a winter wedding in January 2015 and will reside in Hayden. We wish them a long and happy life together surrounded by family and friends.

BIRTHS

Kenzie Rashelle Hughes was born at 8:55 a.m. May 18, 2014, to Rashelle and John Hughes of Post Falls. She weighed 6 pounds, 15 ounces and was 19.34 inches long. Sisters are Hailey, Emily, Abby and Maggie Hughes.

Alec Aaron Webb was born at 6:16 a.m. May 29, 2014. Alec weighed 7 pounds, 13 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. Proud parents are Katy and Travis Webb of Coeur d'Alene. Maternal grandparents are Bryan and the late Bambi Thomason, and Nancy and Glen McConaughey of Boise. Paternal grandparents are Stephen and Raynae Webb of Coeur d'Alene.

EDUCATION

Rachquel Banducci has been named to the York College Dean's List for the spring 2014 semester.

Banducci is the child of Todd and Annie Foster of Post Falls and a 2010 graduate of Lakeland High School. Banducci is majoring in business administration at YC.

MILITARY

Brett Burnside, U.S. Air Force Academy, graduated with academic honors on May 28, 2014, in Colorado Springs.

Burnside, a systems engineering major for aeronautics was also recognized as the Outstanding Graduate for his major field and as a Distinguished Graduate of the class of 2014. Burnside was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant the evening before graduation.

His parents, Suzanne Endsley and Tim Burnside, pinned his lieutenant boards during the commissioning ceremony. Burnside has been selected for pilot training - a longtime goal - and will report to Laughlin Air Force Base in Del Rio, Texas, on July 30, 2014. He is a graduate of Coeur d'Alene High School, class of 2010.
