A Whitefish man has pleaded not guilty to a trio of sexual assault-related charges as well as failing to register as a violent offender.

Wallace Pulley, 39, entered the pleas Thursday in Flathead District Court.

In the sexual crimes case, Pulley is alleged to have threatened to kill his victim in addition to committing the sex crimes. In a second case, Pulley is alleged to have moved without notifying authorities of his new address despite being a registered violent offender.

Pulley was designated a violent offender after being convicted of felony partner or family member assault in 2004, according to a court document. Another court document states he was also convicted of felony criminal endangerment in 2003.

If convicted of all four charges, Pulley faces 100 years in the Montana State Prison, with no opportunity for parole for the first 25 years, which also may not be suspended or deferred, as well as an additional sentence of between four and 205 years or two life terms plus five years in the prison.

He also faces a fine of up to $160,000.

Pulley is currently incarcerated in the Flathead County Detention Center, where total bond is set at $115,000.

His next hearing in each case is set for July 16.
