4-H shotgunners end season on a high note

PLAINS - South Side Sparks Shotgunners completed their second season of trap shooting. This season brought an additional six beginning shooters, bringing the group to a total of 15 shooters.

Matt Cockrell completed the 4-H certified shotgun instructor course. Mahala Sweet and Valaria Sweet completed the 4-H leadership training for shotguns course and Wyatt Sheehan was team leader. Mike Blake was the lead instructor and Harry Greene assisted making it very doable to comfortably instruct fifteen trap shooters.

Next year the club hopes to compete at the Plains Trap Club with a five person team during league competition.
