BBCC Lady Vikings to host basketball camp

MOSES LAKE - Local basketball players looking to improve their skills on the court will have an opportunity at the BBCC Lady Vikings Basketball Camp.
The camp is open to girls between the grades of third and ninth and will focus on various basketball skills, such as passing, shooting, ball-handling, defense, rebounding and screening amongst others.
Experience players will be drilled in more advanced techniques.
Big Bend head women's basketball coach and athletic director Preston Wilks is the camp director. He will be assisted by current Lady Vikings players as well as assistant coach Andrew Pena.
Several players from next year's team will also be present leading drills.
Campers will be divided by age and skill level and must provide their own medical insurance.
The first camp will be held June 16-19 with the second coming the next week, June 23-26.
Each session runs from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Camp tuition is $115 with the option for the camper to bring their own lunch or purchase a buffet style lunch for $30, which would cover four meals.
