Somers offers summer meals for youths

Somers School will serve free meals to children this summer June 16 through June 27.
Free breakfast and lunch will be available to all children under 18. No registration, proof of income or identification is required.
Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday through Friday at Somers Middle School, 315 School Addition Road.
The summer food program is offered through the U.S. Department of Agriculture Child Nutrition Program to ensure children living in low-income areas have access to nutritious meals when school is not in session.
