Tickets still available for monster truck event

MOSES LAKE - Tickets are still available for the two-day Monster X Tour Friday and Saturday, the first time the monster truck event has come to Moses Lake.

Both Friday and Saturday events kick of at 7:30 p.m. at the rodeo area at the Grant County Fairgrounds. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Advance discount tickets are available online at www.monsterxtour.com. Adult tickets start at $19 and $10 for children ages 3-12. Children under 2 are free although the event is not recommended for children under 2. The event is outdoors but loud noise, dust and exhaust fumes should be expected.

Tickets are available at the door for both events but ticket prices will be increased.

VIP and Party in the Pits tickets are also available to party with the truck drivers before the show and purchase a ride in one of the trucks. Pit Party passes are only $5. Party with the Drivers starts 90 minutes before showtime and ends 30 minutes before the show. VIP tickets cost $25 include the Pit Party Pass.

Tickets are also available at Jerry's Auto Supply at 239 N. Elder St. in Moses Lake.

The monster truck lineup includes Rock Star, California Kid, Mega Merc, Geter Done and Robo Machine. The event also includes quad racing.

The Monster X Tour is a worldwide series featuring the top monster trucks and drivers and is part of the Monster Truck Entertainment company.
