Home-invasion suspect enters Alford plea

SANDPOINT — A Bonner County man implicated in a home-invasion robbery that left an Elmira man with a gunshot wound to the face is taking a plea deal.
Joseph Vencil Kluck Jr. was charged with attempted murder, robbery, second-degree kidnapping and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the March 10 attack. He also faced charging enhancements for using a firearm during the commission of a felony and for being a habitual criminal offender.
