The Flathead County Fairgrounds in Kalispell will be transformed into a Jurassic Park-like atmosphere this weekend as one of the largest exhibitions of museum-quality dinosaurs in North America comes to town.

Jurassic Quest, featuring more than 50 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs, will be set up at the Trade Center at the fairgrounds from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.

Visitors can interact with the huge creatures, learn about them and even ride a few of the dinosaurs. The display features realistic scenes, enormous dinosaurs, cute baby dinosaurs and activities for children of all ages.

Young paleontologists can uncover long-hidden dinosaurs bones during the T-rex and triceratops fossil digs. A “Dino Bounce” area will feature several towering, dinosaur-themed inflatables, along with face painting, dinosaur crafts and more.

“We are passionate about creating outstanding guest experiences,” Jurassic Quest says on its website, jurassicquest.com. “Thanks to our team of experts and our collaborations with our paleontological partners, we’ve been able to build an exceptional product and a solid reputation.”

Admission for children 2 to 12 is $13; ages 13 to 60 pay $18 per person and seniors and military veterans pay $16.
