ROYAL CITY - The Royal Golf Course will have it's annual tribute to the U.S. Open this Saturday, June 21, and all players are invited.

"Men, women and juniors are welcome," Pro Randy Puetz said.

The RGC is set up as tough as can be for U.S. Open Day. The greens are faster than normal, the pins are placed in the toughest positions, the tee blocks are set all the way back, and the rough will be shaggy and deep.

The entry fee is $25 for this individual play event. Handicaps will be used. If you don't have one, Puetz will assign you one, based on your recent playing history.

There will be a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded in net and gross divisions. There will be long drive and closest to the pin contests.
