KR Run

The 5K (3.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles) racesfor the Kootenai River run begin and end at the Boundary County Fairgrounds with aid stations throughout the course and at the finish line.

The overall male and female finisher in each run will be presented a locally crafted trophy. Ribbons will be given to the top three finishers in each of the male and female age groups from 0-11 years to 70 plus years. Door prizes will be drawn during the award ceremony and the grand prize is a $100 gift certificate towards the purchase of a new pair of running shoes.

Entry fee is $20 ($24 Canadian) with an embroidered T-shirt or $10 ($12 Canadian) without the T-shirt. A limited number of extra shirts will be available on race day.

Participants can register on race day without a late fee. Registration is from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. at the Boundary County Fairgrounds with the race starting at 9 a.m. To avoid race day rush, preregistered runners can pick up their race packets at Mugsy’s on Friday, June 20 between 5 and 7 p.m.
