MOSES LAKE - This past weekend the Moses Lake Monsters defended their home turf coming away as the Little League Legends Champions as they swept through the tournament pushing their winning streak to 20 games.
The Lake Monsters came out of the gate red hot at the plate pounding out 12 hits in a 12-0 mercy rule victory over NW Premier out of Idaho.
Saturday morning, the Lake Monsters cruised to a 10-2 victory over the Puyallup Cal Ripken All-Stars after coming out of the gate with five consecutive hits in the first inning.
Next up for the Lake Monsters was the Wenatchee All-Stars. The Lake Monsters coasted to a 5-1 win.
the Lake Monsters dismantled the Ferndale All-Stars, 16-0, in the semifinal and beat the NW Premier, 11-5 in the finals.
