The suspect allegedly involved in an shooting that occurred in Worley early Saturday remained on the run on Monday.

Timothy Ray Allen, Jr., 22, of Worley, is considered armed and dangerous, according to Coeur d'Alene Tribe officials.

"The intel our police department is receiving indicates that he may still be local," said Heather Keen, tribal spokeswoman, adding that Allen could still be on the Coeur d'Alene Reservation or in the Coeur d'Alene/Spokane area.

The male victim, a resident of the Plummer area and originally from Fort Hall, continues to recover after receiving medical attention, Keen said.

The victim's name is not being released. The Tribe does not know his age.

Keen said the victim was shot in the lower body, but she didn't know how many times

Keen said the circumstances that led up to the alleged shooting remain unclear and said the FBI is investigating the case.

An FBI investigator assigned to the case couldn't be reached for comment on Monday.

Allen is 5-foot-7 and weighs 153 pounds. He has a warrant out for his arrest for parole violations.

Allen has been booked into the Kootenai County jail four times since December 2010, for charges including eluding a police officer and two counts of criminal contempt, four counts of failure to appear and aggravated assault.

The search for Allen began after Coeur d'Alene Tribal Police responded to a domestic incident in Worley early Saturday morning. After securing the scene, officers noticed blood leading to and inside the home, which appeared to be unrelated to the domestic incident, according to The Tribe.

Further investigation revealed that Allen had shot someone in a second, unrelated incident.

Keen said it is unclear whether Allen knows the victim.

Those with information on Allen's whereabouts are urged to call 911.
