SANDPOINT — The weather was cool but the food was hot at this year’s Summer Sampler, held Thursday in Farmin Park.

An event designed to showcase the best of Sandpoint restaurants and cuisine, the Summer Sampler allows attendees to try a variety of dishes from restaurants and artisans like Pend Oreille Pasta and Wine, Forty-One South, Eichardt’s, Pend d’Oreille Winery, Joe’s Philly Cheesesteak, Connie’s and more. By buying tickets, people can peruse several different restaurant booths and sample many different dishes.
